March 16 - Saint Mary’s University Women’s volleyball Head Coach Darren Russell is pleased to announce the addition of six new student-athletes for the 2012-2013 season. “I think this is one of our strongest recruiting classes in years. This group of exceptional student-athletes will bring size, competitiveness, and leadership to our volleyball program”.

Though the team’s record showed otherwise, the Huskies put in commendable efforts and gained a lot of respect around the league.

March 14 - A longtime member of the Saint Mary's Huskies Basketball team will take over the reins of the team Jonah Taussig has been appointed as the new head coach for the men's basketball team. Taussig had been the assistant head coach for the team for the past 8 years. Before that, he was a player for the Huskies. Lower Sackville’s Rossong will fill the gap left by former Citadel Phoenix quarterback Jesse Mills, who followed Steve Sumarah to the Carleton Ravens.

January 22 - The volleyball huskies continued their dominance with two weekend road wins over StFX and CBU. On Saturday, the Huskies lost the first match, but came back with three straight to defeat the X-Women.
