Saint Mary’s Huskies alumnus Justin Palardy will start as place-kicker for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers tomorrow against the Montreal Alouettes, according to the Winnipeg Free Press.

Palardy, who was recently cut as a punter by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, edged out Warren Kean for the right to fill in for injured starter Louie Sakoda after a brief tryout this week.

The native of Murray Siding, Colchester Co., will need a strong showing to keep the job after Sakoda gets healthy.
