Huskies Women’s Hockey Team Members Volunteer at the Canadian Tire NHL Junior Skills December 10 The Canadian Tire NHL Junior Skills event was at Cole Harbour place on December 8th. Fashioned after the NHL All-Star Skills Competition™ Novice, Atom & PeeWee hockey players will compete in NHL® skills-inspired tests. Top qualifiers will be invited to compete head to head in the Canadian Tire NHL Junior Skills™ National Championship during the 2012 NHL® All-Star Weekend in Ottawa.

Huskies lend support at Food Back Warehouse November 19 “The SMU women’s hockey team continue to get involved in the community, most recently helping lend a hand at the local Feed Nova Scotia Christmas Warehouse The team's volunteer efforts were on support of a great cause that reaches throughout the province. Over 200 boxes of food items were processed to be shipped all over Nova Scotia communities. It was smiles all around and a great time had by all.
