University hockey fans can expect fireworks in Halifax next winter.
That's the word from Saint Mary's Huskies forward Anthony Repaci, riding an extra bolt of energy after participating in the Tampa Bay Lightning development camp last week.
"They told me they want me to go back (to the AUS) and light it up next season," Repaci said of his exit meeting with the Lightning, including general manager Steve Yzerman.
"They thought my skill was unbelievable. I have the skill and the smarts to play at the next level, and that's what they're most excited about. They want to see me in the organization and watch me grow as a player. That's the key word they used with me — is grow. They want to see me develop next year and come back after my (sophomore SMU) season."
