(Halifax, NS)  The Saint Mary's Huskies defeated the Saint Francis Xavier X-Women 2-1 Saturday afternoon at Alumni Arena.

Both teams were unable to get on the board in the first period. In the third, the X-Women got back in it when Sarah Bujold (Riverview, NB) potted a marker in the slot with their goalie pulled at 18:51 to get it to 2-1, but that was as close as they would get.
