Briana Donnelly & Nicole McCulloch, have committed to the Huskies line up for 2010-2011

Saint Mary’s Huskies women’s volleyball head coach Darren Russell is pleased to announce that two top recruits, Briana Donnelly and Nicole McCulloch, have committed to the Huskies line up for 2010-2011.
Donnelly, a 5’11 left side comes from the Ottawa Mavericks Volleyball Club in Ontario. Donnelly was named to the 2009-2010 U18 Maverick Volleyball High Performance Team and was Senior Team Captain and MVP at Fellowes High School.
McCulloch, considered to be one of the top players in Nova Scotia, is a 6’2 middle that comes from Hants East where she earned MVP honors with the HERH Tigers. Nicole has played for Team N.S. for the past 3 years (finishing 2nd at ECEC in all three years), earning a 2009 all star. Currently Nicole plays for the Sackville Sonics Volleyball Club. “I am really excited about my choice and the opportunity to play with such a great team!”
Head Coach Darren Russell commented, “these are two top quality student-athletes who will make an immediate impact to our volleyball program. Both these athletes bring strong leadership skills and will continue to move our program forward.”
