Malik Williams named Huskies Athlete of the Week: Aug. 18-24, 2025
Malik Williams, a fifth year running back from Ajax, Ontario, is the Huskies male athlete of the week, sponsored by Freeman's Little New York Halifax, for the week ending August 24, 2025.
In Friday's 35-7 win over the Acadia Axemen, Williams rushed 10 times for 73 yards and three touchdowns, and was named Player of the Game.
Friday's season-opening win gave the Huskies a 1-0 record to begin the season. The Huskies will be on the road next weekend, visiting the Mount Allison Mounties on Saturday, Aug. 30 at 2 p.m., before returning to Huskies Stadium to host the Bishop's Gaiters on Saturday, Sept. 6 at 3 p.m. GET TICKETS
