Huskies women’s soccer announce commitment of midfielder Chloe Accardi

Saint Mary's Huskies women's soccer head coach Marisa Colzie is pleased to announce the commitment of midfielder Chloe Accardi for the 2026 season.

A 5'6" central attacking midfielder from Etobicoke, Ontario, Accardi joins the Huskies out of Michael Power St. Joseph High School and Juventus Academy Toronto.

"I am beyond excited about my commitment to Saint Mary's!" says Chloe. "I am looking forward to growing, not only as a player, but as a person, and can't wait to get started! Go Huskies!"

Accardi has played and captained Juventus Academy Toronto for the past five seasons, leading the team to back-to-back Ontario Cup Championship wins in 2025 (U17) and 2024 (U16), and winning the top division at the 2025 Top Rated Umbro Showcase.

Accardi also led Michael Power St. Joseph High to a silver medal at the 2025 OFSAA Provincial Championships - the first OFSAA medal in program history - after winning the Toronto District (TDCAA) Championship.

Accardi was ranked #95 in the 2026 Grad Class by First Touch Football, having participated in the FTF Canada Showdown three times, helping her team win each year.

"We are so happy to welcome Chloe Accardi to the Huskies program!" says Huskies head coach Marisa Colzie. "Chloe is a dynamic attacking midfielder who can break down defensive structures with her passing ability and vision. She knows what it takes to win as her teams havewon at every level, including Nationals, and we can't wait to see what she does as a Husky!"

An honour roll student, Accardi will be studying a Bachelor of Science at Saint Mary's.

The Huskies will kick-off the 2026 season on home field as they host the UNB REDS on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 1 p.m. at Huskies Stadium.
