Huskies women’s soccer announce commitment of midfielder Angelina Panago
Saint Mary's Huskies women's soccer head coach Marisa Colzie is pleased to announce the commitment of midfielder Angelina Panago for the 2026 season.
A 5'6" midfielder from Vancouver, BC, Panago joins the Huskies out of Sir Charles Tupper Secondary and Vancouver United FC.
"I am beyond excited to commit to Saint Mary's, and am very excited to compete with the Huskies at the U SPORTS level!" says Angelina. "I am so grateful and excited for the opportunity to be a part of the Huskies family!"
Panago plays with Vancouver United FC, in the BC Premier Soccer Premier League, as well as for the Premier Soccer Academy, and has competed in tournaments in Sweden, Denmark, San Diego and Las Vegas, including a second place finish in the Gothia Cup in Sweden with Premier Academy.
Panago also competes for Sir Charles Tupper Secondary School, helping lead the team to a 4th place finish at the 2025 BCS AA Provincials.
An honour roll student, Panago will be studying a Bachelor of Arts at Saint Mary's.
The Huskies will kick-off the 2026 season on home field as they host the UNB REDS on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 1 p.m. at Huskies Stadium.
