Huskies Volleyball announce commitment of Kim Bigler to lineup for 2026-27 season

Saint Mary's women's volleyball head coach Darren Russell is pleased to announce the commitment of outside hitter Kim Bigler to the Huskies line-up for the upcoming 2026-27 season.

A 6'0" outside hitter from Berne, Switzerland, Bigler joins the Huskies via Eaglets Volley Aarau of the Swiss National League B, the highest division before professional competition.

"Moving to Canada as an international student is an exciting new chapter for me, and I am very grateful for this opportunity," says Bigler. "I knew right away that Saint Mary's in Halifax was the right place for me, and I can't wait to play for the Huskies!"

Bigler will be studying a Bachelor of Arts at Saint Mary's, with plans to major in Law and Ethics.

"We are excited to have Kim join our Huskies family and look forward to seeing her compete on the court next season!" adds Huskies head coach Darren Russell.
