Atlantic Field Hockey League Tournament #1
The Atlantic Field Hockey League is comprised of teams from Acadia, Dalhousie, Saint Mary’s, St Francis Xavier, University of New Brunswick and University of Prince Edward Island and new to the league this year is the addition of Mt. Allison. Tournament #1 took place between Saint Mary's University and Dalhousie University. The league involves two tournaments and then a Play-off weekend for the Atlantic Championship. After which the winner will continue on to the Ontario University Association play-offs for a birth in the CIS Championships.

(HALIFAX, N.S.) - The AUS Championship title is returning to Wolfville. The Acadia Axemen, after dropping Game 3 in Halifax, played a perfect road game Monday night at the Forum, defeating the Saint Mary’s Huskies 3-1 in Game 4 of the 2014 AUS Final. The title is Acadia’s first since 2006 when they beat UNB in three straight games.

AUS Women's Hockey Awards, Breanne Lanceleve Rookie of Year
Breanne Lanceleve, a first-year forward from Middle Sackville, N.S., is the AUS women’s hockey rookie of the year. Lanceleve, also named a first team all-star today, played in all 24 regular season games this season for the Huskies. She finished first overall in the conference in goals with 15, third in points with 24 and her +20 plus/minus rating was good for second best overall.
